Stunning Hibiscus Island Home Listed for $20 M

The stunning Hibiscus Island waterfront home located at 440 S Hibiscus Drive, Miami Beach was recently listed for $20 million, or nearly $3,000 per square foot. Owner Aldo Scarpatetti, a Switerzerland-based doctor, entrusted the job of selling the estate to famed Miami Beach luxury real estate broker, Julian Johnston.

The contemporary home, which was completed this year, is a two story, 6,700 square foot home that features an open living, dining, and kitchen space with Miele, Wolf, and Subzero appliances.

Sitting on a 11,077 square foot lot, the home features westerly bay wide sunset views and direct ocean access. This 6 bedroom, 6 and a half bathroom home features balconies in all bedrooms, a movie theatre with leather recliners, and a gym.

Outdoor aficionados will appreciate the outdoor features of this wonderful Hibiscus Island home. Scarpatetti has owned the property since 2012, when a trust in his name purchased the property for $5.5 million. In 2013, the Miami Beach Design Board approved demolition plans of the previous home, which was built in 1994. “Villa Scarpatetti” was designed by Mateu Architecture.
