The Unique Appeal of Bay PointApril 4, 2016
One of the communities belonging to Miami’s Upper Eastside neighborhood is Bay Point, a gated neighborhood encompassing Northeast 41st Street all the way to Northeast 50th Street. Among its many distinctive features is the fact that the roadways are not owned by the city but by the very residents of Bay Point along with its waterways.
Bay Point real estate is divided relatively evenly between inland homes for sale plus stunning waterfront residences within a quiet island setting where Island Road provides the vehicular means of exploring the picturesque neighborhood. As you check out the properties you’re going to find a variety of styles that include old Florida plus modern design. Bay Point residents must pay annual dues in order to maintain the privately owned roadways and fund the community’s around the clock security.
Many celebrities or notable figures have chosen to live in Bay Point at some point. Spanish recording artist Enrique Iglesias and Miami Heat player Dwyane Wade are a pair of names you may recognize that have owned Bay Point real estate. The community is close to Morningside Park as well as Biscayne Boulevard, a major roadway providing access to Downtown Miami in only a few minutes. This roadway also leads to the Julia Tuttle Causeway which is one of the several ways to visit the barrier island of Miami Beach.
